McCANN, GEORGE M. "BUSTER" 62, of Green Creek, died suddenly on June 4, 2003. Formerly 
of the Holmsburg and Fishtown/sections of Phila. He was a resident here since 1983. Mr. McCann 
was a Philadelphia fireman for 14 years. He was a former member of the Great Kensington String 
Band and Local #22 of Phila. Firefighters. He was the son of the late George and Marian McCann. 
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Kathleen (Brassell); children Kimberly and George F. McCann, 
both at home; a sister Marian Conway of Phila., Aunt, Regina Smith, a nephew, Kevin Conway 
and a niece, Lisa Schlissler. He was the surrogate son of Jim and Ernina Gilliland and was also 
survived by many cousins and friends. he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and 
Edward. Funeral services will be held on Monday 11:30 AM the Evoy Funeral Services will be held 
on Monday 11:30 AM at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, where friends 
may call after 10 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring.
