DATTILO, MILDRED JONES, 77, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Ocean City, died Saturday, 
March 29, 2003 at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange, FL following an extended illness.


Born in Bridgeport, PA, she was a resident of Ocean City, and New Smyrna Beach, FL.


Mrs. Dattilo graduated from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with a degree in teaching . 
She went on to teach music in Wilmington, DE, and Auburn, PA. She then worked for New Jersey 
School for the Deaf, where she was instrumental in the rhythm and speech program, retiring in 
1982. She was an avid bridge player and tennis player, and enjoyed traveling.


She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Dattilo of Ocean City; a brother, George Jones 
of Worton, MD; and a sister, Reba Raeburn of Quarryville, PA.


A service of Memory and Love will be offered Wednesday morning, June 4, 2003 at eleven o'clock 
from The Godfrey Funeral Home, 809 Central Avenue, Ocean City. where friends may call from ten 
o'clock until the time of service. The family suggests those who desire send memorial
