CROSS, MARIE G., 85, of Ocean City, died Thursday, May 8, 2003 at her home.


Born in Philadelphia, PA she had lived in Cherry Hill before moving to Ocean City 30 years ago. 


Mrs. Cross worked the switchboard and front desk at the Flanders Hotel, in Ocean City for 25 
years before her retirement in 1993. She had also worked at Kenny's Restaurant in Camden as a 
waitress and cashier for 25 years.


She was a member of Union Chapel By-The-Sea Church in Ocean City, where she belonged to 
The Women's Club.


She is survived by three sons, Kenneth T. Cross, Jr. of Little Rock, AR, William E. Cross, of 
Leesburg, FL, James A. Cross, of Maple Shade, seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 
one great- great grandchild.


A Service of Memory and Love will be offered Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock from Union 
Chapel By-The-Sea Church, 55th Street at Asbury Avenue, Ocean City. Burial will be private at the 
convenience of the family.
