BUCHANAN, ELEONORA MARY 70, of Avalon, died on Sunday at her home. Born in Phila., she 
has summered here all her life and moved here in 1971 coming from Drexel Hill. She was a 
member of Maris Stella Church. Eleonora along with her husband Paul G., her sister Camilla and 
her husband Joseph Damiri established the Avalon & Stone Harbor Pizza family restaurant and 
eventually, Circle Pizza in Avalon. She was known for her constant love, generosity and 
graciousness. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and many friends.


She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul G., her children Linda M. Wagner & husband 
Kenny of E. Windsor, NJ, Joseph Buchanan of Avalon, Gregory Buchanan & wife Dorothy of 
Avalon, Mary Beth Campenella & husband Peter of Shrewsbury, NJ, Lauren Buchanan of Red 
Bank, Paul Buchanan & wife Mary of Cumberland, Maine and Drew Buchanan & wife Gwen of 
Avalon, NJ and sister Camilla Damiri of Glenn Mills, PA. Also survived by 17 grandchildren.


Memorial Funeral Liturgy will be said 11 AM Wednesday at Maris Stella Chapel, 25th & First Ave., 
Avalon. There is no calling time. Interment is private. Memorial donations to Holy Redeemer
