BEVANS, MARIE S., 86, of Erma, died on May 6, 2003 at her residence. Born in Philadelphia, 
PA, she has been an area resident for the past 33 years. She was a member of St. John of God 
R.C. Church, a past president of the Ladies Republican Club in N. Wildwood in 1980, past 
President of Women's Republican Club, Cape May Co. in 1983, President of the Past Presidents 
Club of the Women's Republican Club of Cape May County in 1989. Preceded in death by her 
husband, Charles on August 1, 1994, she is survived by her daughters, Marie M. Geiger of Erma, 
Julene M. Sadler of Mantua, Dr. Maggie A. Marshall of Wynnewood, PA, Nancy M. Kelly of 
Midlothian, VA, and Charleen M. Bevans of Erma, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a 
sister, Anna Stevenson of Philadelphia, PA.


Services will be Friday May 9, 2003, 11 a.m. at St. John of God, where friends may call after 10 
a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Cape May. Donations in her memory can be made
