ANDERSON, CLAUDIUS W. JR., 54, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Thursday, June 
5, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Urbanna, VA to Blanch E. (King) 
and the late Claudius W. Anderson, Sr. and moved here in 1949. He was a probation officer for the 
Child Support Division. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. He was an 
Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.


Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Anderson; his children, Claudius, III, 
Anthony, Raymond, Matthew, and Nicole; his mother, Blanch E. Anderson of Stone Harbor; his 
brothers, Tyrone of Stone Harbor, and Gerald A. of Whitesboro; and two grandchildren, Sabrina 
and Mikayla. He was preceded in death by his father on April 6, 1997.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 12:00 pm. at the First Baptist Church, 
Route 9 and Main Street, Whitesboro, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. There 
will be no re-view. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. Condolences at
