Union Bethel Cemetery (African-American)

This Civil War Veterans Cemetery is located off of Tabernacle Road in Erma about 1/4 mile from Fishing Creek Road situated in the woods.

Volunteers help maintain the cemetery.  There does not seem to be a burial pattern of the graves and most are just placed anywhere except where a few family plots lay surround by pole type fencing.  The condition is very poor as it is very old and many stones are missing and broken.  I have not yet confirmed if the church that may have been associated with this cemetery is still in existence.  Some family members can also be found in Mount Zion Cemetery.
